Matlock Golf Club
Situated on moorland, close to Matlock with extensive views. Convenient for guests at Darwin Forest, this course has 18 holes. Visitors are welcome to play on weekdays. Ask at Park reception for a 2 for price of 1 green fee voucher. Tel: 01629 582191
Bakewell Golf Club
This parkland scenic hillside course has 9 holes. Visitors are very welcome and will be able to play at most times. As with any golf club, there are times to avoid when the course is busy with club competitions or matches. Tel: 01629 812307
Stanedge Golf Club, Stonedge, near Darwin Forest
Course 1000ft above sea level, views of four counties. A friendly club with a 9 hole course. Visitors should telephone in advance. Tel: 01246 566156
Ashbourne Golf Club
Set in undulating parkland, this is a relatively new 18 hole course. Very convenient for guests at Sandybrook Country Park. Visitors are welcome and may play at any time when the course is open. Tel: 01335 342078
Tapton Municipal Golf Course, Chesterfield
Tapton Golf Course is situated on the outskirts of Chesterfield, it is the only municipal parkland golf course in the area boasting a full 18 hole demanding golf course, a testing 9 hole golf course and an 18 hole chip and putt challenge. The course is fairly hard walking with steep gradients on a few fairways. Tel: 01246 273887
Kedleston Park Golf Club, near Derby
Kedleston Park is an 18 hole course laid out in 155 acres of the mature parkland surrounding historic Kedleston Hall, a National Trust property. Visitors are welcome but may not play on competition days. Weekend and bank holidays play with a member only. Tel: 01332 841685
Mickleover Golf Club, near Derby
