Sandybrook Country Park
The holiday lodges here are sited in delightful parkland, quiet, yet handy for Ashbourne, Dovedale and Alton Towers. Ashbourne Festival is being held from 21 June through to 7 July, when the town really comes alive with a huge arts prgramme and street festival.
5 Star Sandybrook Country Park is set in the former grounds of Sandybrook Hall, an elegant 19th Century manor house. With old, walled gardens, woodland of mature specimen trees offering walks through a pretty bluebell wood, this is a lovely place to enjoy a break.
The listed Coach House has been lovingly restored to provide an atmospheric bar/restaurant which is open every evening of the week (except Wednesday).
A heated indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna are provided for guests in which to relax or enjoy a refreshing swim. Mini-golf, indoor and outdoor play areas are provided to entertain children of all ages. Free Wi-Fi access to the internet is available in lodges and by Reception. Several lodges now have their own hot-tub too.
Many other activities are available locally including cycle hire, golf, fishing, horse riding and sailing.
