Darwin Forest Country Park Activities

There are many fun filled and exciting activities for all ages that you might like to try during your holiday with us at Darwin Forest Country Park. Some you can just turn up for, others may need our help in making arrangements for you. Call into Reception, where our staff will be only too pleased to help you arrange and book activities where this is necessary.

	Swimming Full-on lane swimming or general bathing. Available all day, every day. Free		Electric Bikes Try out these new electrically powered bikes, to give you a helping hand on our Derbyshire hills. Over 14s, £10 per hour, £15 half day or £25 all day.

	Gymnasium Adults may enjoy a tough workout in the gym. £3.75 per session, or 4 sessions £10.  Combined entry to gym and spa area, £6 per session		Indoor Play Children up to 11, can join in the fun at Little Monkeys. Every day 10am - 6pm. £3.50 (concessionary price for park guests)
	Beauty therapy or massage Pick up a menu from Evolution and select from a wide range of treatments to pamper yourself. £various		Trim Trak Work out on these exercise stations around the park. £free
	Orienteering Try the short onsite course. 50p. Ask for details of longer fixed courses in the area or for details of any locally organised events.		Mini-golf Try your hand on this fun 9-hole course.  £1.50 children 5+, £2 adults
	Golf There are several very good golf courses in the area which welcome guests. Please ask at Reception and they will provide details, book you in and even give you a 2 for 1 voucher for some courses.  £various		Spa/sauna/steam Adults may relax in luxury in Evolution. £3.75 per session, or 4 sessions £10
	Soft Play Small soft play area for young children. £free		Pool/Snooker Pool tables for all ages, 50p per game.  Snooker for adults only £4/hour
	Adventure Play Area Behind the Foresters. A great way for the children to let off steam. £free		Table Tennis In the beer garden.  Bats and balls from Reception, £3.50 per set
	Short tennis Small court, ideal for younger children to try the game. Court & racket hire £2/hour		Bike Rides Chose from a variety of routes around the Peak District, on roads, trails or off road. Bikes available to rent, £6 half day; £10 all day
	Fishing Plenty of local rivers, fisheries, ponds and reservoirs for anglers. Please ask at Reception for further details. £various		Aquasize Water aerobics class in the pool. Wednesday 9.30-10.15am. Adults £4

The Peak District is a terrific playground for people of all ages, with so many activities to try from country walks, horse riding, sailing, canoeing, flying and climbing. Ask us for details of any of these activities, or indeed local places to visit or somewhere nice for a meal and we will do our best to help you make the most of your holiday.
