Darwin Forest Country Park

Hoseasons 'Best lodge park in Britain' 2009, providing self-catering holiday accommodation in the Derbyshire Peak District - convenient for Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth House.

5 Star Darwin Forest is set in mature woodland with superb facilities to help you experience a great holiday, with the freedom to do as much or as little as you like...!

Evolution Health and Fitness centre has a large swimming pool which is free to use for guests. The well equipped gymnasium, spa, sauna and steam room are available for a small additional charge. Beauty therapy and massage treatments are offered too.

The Foresters Inn is ideal for a relaxing drink or meal. Activities include tennis, soft play, orienteering, adventure playground, mini-golf, a stroll around the woodland walks or renting out mountain bikes. DVDs are available from the Woodland Store or surf the internet with free wi-fi access at two hot spots. A launderette is also provided.

A massive new play centre is now open for holidaymakers to enjoy. 'Little Monkeys' provides a multi-level indoor play arena for our younger guests as well as an all day cafe where the whole family can get something delicious to eat.

We take our responsibilities towards environmental management and conservation seriously at Darwin Forest and as a result have won the coveted David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for the last twelve years.
